Okay, maybe saving the planet is going a little too far, but it has certainly achieved more for itself than most Apps.

Of the aspects it has done right since release, we could postulate till the Miltanks come home...

E3 Round Up – PS Vita

E3, the biggest gaming event of the year, has descended upon LA in typical grandiose style and promises to capture the attention and imagination of both the press and and consumers alike.

2017 has already been a breakthrough year for gaming, but at both the midway point of the year, and the big yearly event, it’s time to stop, listen and take stock of what we can expect for the rest of this year and early 2018!

Enjoy!

Easiest article I’ve ever done… Damn, I wish Sony would have supported this majestic console a little more. It deserves way more than a quiet unmarked grave somewhere between the PS3 & PS4. Undertale is on its way, and that’s cool… But it’s also coming out for the PS4, so whatever.

Oh, Vita, you never asked for much, but you deserved so much more than you got.

Runbow Pocket coming for New Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo know their beloved demographic as they look to be releasing a portable version of the runaway hit “Runbow”.

Pocket gamers wont have to wait too long see the bite-sized version of the frantic, furious, family friendly release, and we do not doubt many a friendship may be tested as colours, platforms and rankings as BFF are swapped to doom those of our rivals to the merciless ravages of gravity or social isolation. Having already proven itself on both Steam and the Wii U, it’s a wonder it has taken this long for Nintendo to connect a game of this nature to their signature handheld, which really seems to be a perfect addition to the 3DS’s already great library.

June 20th will see the release of this boldly shaded run’n’jump-athon, and although pricing has yet to be confirmed, what ...

Nintendo Direct – Pokemon Announcements Abound! Summary and Impressions!

Nintendo’s use of “Nintendo Directs” can often be just cause for excitement and jubilation at times, especially when they have released a new console in the last few months and the gaming community is on tenterhooks to know: WHAT’S NEXT FROM NINTENDO?!

Yesterday’s correspondence has given us a much clearer idea as to what to expect over the coming months for one of their most universally successful series across the board: Pokémon.

This Nintendo Direct was comprised of four main Pokémon related announcements:

  • Pokken Tournament DX – Switch
  • Pokken Tournament released for the Wii U a couple of years ago now to relatively decent praise and feedback. The fighting game formula was seemingly a big winner when given a pretty Pokémon sheen...

SquareEnix announces a new JRPG for the Nintendo Switch

The dust has settled to a calm on the release Nintendo’s newest hybrid hardware, the Switch, and following the exciting release of the hardware, the future of the console now lies squarely in the hands of its software. The games make the system, not the other way around!

A couple of big name titles are already on the system, with the likes of the almighty Breathe of the Wild and the Deluxe version of Mario Kart 8 setting the trend, hopefully, for the rest of the year. Other games have been announced to be on their way sooner (Monster Hunter XX) or later (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) and this is all for the best. The Switch needs as much decent, well produced software to be thrown at it as possible if it is to avoid the problems of it’s predecessor: The Wii U.

With that in mind, another announce...
